Getting anxious

Well here it is the 23rd of April and the rumours are swirling about the internet as to when the next batch of referrals will be coming in.

I have joined another internet support group that is focused on the November LID(when your dossier is logged in at the emabssy in China). Our log in date is November 19 and typically, referrals come in 28 weeks form your log in date.

Unfortunately, we have been held up by a huge trade fair that takes place every year in China, and Chinese New Year and their labor day holiday, which takes place the first week of May.

Every time these events happen, government offices close and our little girl gets held up in the process.


The last block of referrals that came in had a cut off LID of October 21. What this means is that the next set of referrals will probably be the end of October LIDS and the beginning of November.

This situation puts us at a June referral (instead of May, as we have been planning).

People from all over the world are writing in the rumours that they hear, that all of November LIDS will be coming in the third week of May.
The ages of the children are any where from 7 months to 2 years.

Some people say that referrals are coming next week, before the Holiday.

Terry is saying"step away from the computer".

He is right, I need to stop speculating and accept the process for what it is. When it is time, she will be with us, and in a year... none of this will matter.

I am going out of my mind. We started our paperchase last May. It is really like being pregnant for a very long time.

I am nesting, cleaning closets, having a garage sale, organizing for our trip,reading books, learning my mandarin, pulling my hair out.
