Fourth of July

We celebrated one year of being a family on the fourth of July. We took Mimi to the parade in the morning, and then we had a small celbration with some of the family.

We all walked over to the golf course to watch the Huntington Woods fireworks.

Mimi kept repeating "Mimi day. Mimi day" She was under the impression that the fourth of July, Huntington Woods festivities were all in her honor.

The parade was completely baffling to her, and during the fireworks she kept chanting"fireworks, loud, scared".
Auntie Suzanne and I kept telling her that fireworks were made by her people...next year she will get it.
