Mimi and her art

Mimi has several indooor activities that she really enjoys. I made her a sort of indoor sandbox, using a long tupperware container and a giant bag of rice and dried beans. I spread a sheet out on the sunporch(we can still use it , it is 60 degrees). She digs and pours and fills little containers,she also pushes little match box cars around in it. It gets a little gritty when she decides to pour a whole bowl of rice on the floor.

Mimi has also taken up painting. We had to get over the wish to eat the paint and to paint the furniture but we have a great time.
